The systems your product runs on — designed, built & shipped.
I'm Pere Palou, a software engineer with 6+ years across backend, cloud, full-stack and Web3. I take ownership of the whole cycle — from technical analysis to production — and lead small teams to deliver.
End-to-end engineering,
without the hand-holding.
Seven ways I plug into a team or product — pick one, or hand me the whole problem.
Backend & API development
Robust, well-tested services and APIs that hold up under real traffic and scale with the product.
Cloud & microservices architecture
Designing and migrating systems to clean, observable microservice architectures on managed cloud.
Full-stack product development
Shipping complete features — from database to interface — for web products and internal tools.
Agentic automation
Designing LLM agent teams and automation pipelines that take repetitive work off the roadmap.
Fractional tech lead
Owning delivery, mentoring engineers and being the bridge between product and the dev team.
DevOps & CI/CD
Pipelines, containerisation and deployment setups that let teams ship safely and often.
Technical analysis & feasibility
Evaluating new integrations and features before you commit — what's viable, what it costs, what breaks.
Not sure which you need?
Tell me the problem in plain language. I'll figure out the technical shape of it.
The tools, on the table.
What I reach for, grouped by where it lives in the system.

A couple of things I'm building.
HouseKeepr
A coliving & flatmate management app — split expenses, tasks, bookings and chat in one place. Built end-to-end, from database to interface. Go · Next.js · PostgreSQL Visit ↗ 02 Product · livex3 — Padel super-app
The padel super-app for clubs and players. Manage leagues, rankings, tournaments and court bookings in one fast, modern mobile experience. Mobile app · clubs & players Visit ↗Where I've shipped.
Senior and lead roles across fintech, Web3 and cloud — remote, with real ownership.
Senior Backend Engineer
UnizenBuild and maintain the backend API for a DEX platform. Implemented solvers (regular & gasless swaps), on-chain monitoring for contract balances and stuck trades, and contributed to the first aggregator contract on Solana.
Tech Lead Software Engineer
Mastercard Open BankingLed European bank integrations under PSD2 for the core Open Banking app. Main point of contact between product and dev — driving technical solutions and feasibility for new features.
Blockchain Developer
AuraltDeployed a DAO smart-contract system to Ethereum testnet and a simple NFT marketplace on Polygon, with Solidity, Hardhat and React. Authored the launchpad white paper.
Software Engineer · Full-stack
KabelWeb, API and cloud apps with .NET Core & React on Azure. Led a 4-person team to deliver on time and migrated a monolith to microservices with Docker & Helm.
Software Engineer · Backend
QuonversaCloud microservices on Docker & K8s, APIs with .NET Core and Google Dialogflow, and a websocket chat. Mentored new hires and ran R&D for chatbot channels (WhatsApp, Telegram) via Pub/Sub.
Junior Software Engineer · Full-stack
BluekiriBuilt and maintained APIs, web and console apps with .NET, plus PostgreSQL / SQL Server / MongoDB. First taste of monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud functions.
Four steps, no mystery.
Discovery & analysis
Understand the problem, map constraints and pressure-test feasibility before a line of code.
Architecture
Design the system and data model — pragmatic, observable, and easy for the team to own.
Build & ship
Implement across backend and frontend, with the tests and pipelines to release confidently.
Lead & hand off
Mentor the team, document decisions and leave things in a state someone else can run.
I like taking ownership of the whole cycle of a project, leading a small team, and facing problems I haven't solved before.
I started with .NET, spent a stretch deep in Web3 — smart contracts, DeFi, DAOs — and now mostly write Go backends and TypeScript frontends. I studied Computer Science at the University of the Balearic Islands.
Based in Mallorca, working remotely. Off the keyboard: cars, music, food, and people with a good sense of humour.
Got something that needs building?
Tell me about the project, the team, or the problem. I'll come back with how I'd approach it.
